Hey hey! I’m so excited to team up with you to pull off something that’s going to be absolutely incredible.

The Epic Community Summit is a 3-day event that will help mom entrepreneurs increase their income and impact through their Facebook Group.

I’m looking for speakers who use their area of expertise and leverage Facebook groups to make sales and make a difference. In other words:

[Speaker Area of Expertise] + Facebook Groups = Increased Income + Impact

Rest assured, you do not have to be an expert in Facebook groups! You just need to have proven experience of leveraging them in your zone of brilliance to ultimately increase income and impact.

On this page, you’ll find all kinds of resources meant to make your life as a speaker as easy as possible and answer any questions you might have.

I should note that this will be my third summit! I took the Summit in a Box program in 2020, ran 2 summits in 2021 (1 pre-recorded, 1 live) and then took a break to adjust to big changes in my life. I’ve refined my own personal summit approach based on my lessons learned. But one thing is for sure: I love summits!

The Summit at a Glance

Let’s do a quick rundown of how this event will work.

  • The summit will run from February 28 - March 2, 2023.

  • Presentations will be prerecorded and include 20-25 minutes of content (with up to a 2-minute pitch). They will be free to attendees for 24 hours; otherwise an upgraded pass will need to be purchased to view the videos.

  • We will include worksheets for those who purchase an upgraded pass.

  • The 6k+ Facebook group, Mom Entrepreneurs Supporting Moms: Network, Learn, IMPACT!, will be the host community. Summit speakers will be able to go live in the group for a bonus training, answer questions and connect with attendees. We will not have a chat alongside the prerecorded videos.

  • Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

  • During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the All Access Pass and VIP All Access Pass. This includes all replays, worksheets and a bonus training on Nailing Your Facebook Group Name; the VIP pass will include this plus additional bonuses from speakers. This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions. Yay!

What I’ll Need From You

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make this all as easy as humanly possible so we can all have a blast while providing great value and growing our businesses.

1. BASIC INFORMATION

The first thing I’ll need is some very basic information from you so I can finish up our registration page.

Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.

2. PRESENTATION SLOT SCHEDULED

The next thing I’ll need is for you to schedule your presentation slot! I will send you a Calendly link via my email. This will be your dedicated time for all eyes on you and for you to do a live bonus training in the Facebook group. If you select 10:30am, for example, we’ll communicate to attendees to watch your presentation at 10am, and you’ll be available for 10:30-11am in the Facebook group to answer questions. (FYI - Slots are first-come first-served so if you have a tight schedule be sure to grab your spot right away)


3. PRESENTATION

Next up is your presentation! This is a 20-25 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. These are also mom entrepreneurs who are short on time and big on dreams. Help them learn something great and have fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.

With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:

  • Slides

  • No slides (just your gorgeous/handsome face)

  • Interview-style - I can interview you so let me know if you’d like this option

No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.

Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:

  • A quick introduction

  • An overview of your topic

  • Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it

  • Teaching section

  • Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)

  • Up to a 2-minute pitch

You are also encouraged to include a conversion link. This is usually a freebie of some kind to get attendees to your funnel or audience. Personally I find it’s best to include a freebie with a tripwire associated with it. But it’s up to you.

The conversion link will be included below your prerecorded video, and we will also create a single page with all conversion links and promote it to all attendees.

Presentations and conversion links are due by Friday, February 3rd, 2023.

4. VIP ALL ACCESS PASS CONTRIBUTION

The VIP All Access Pass will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to make money, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:

  • Templates

  • Workbooks

  • Courses (big or small)

  • 1-month memberships

  • eBooks

Note: I expect this to convert well so I do not recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.

Anyone who does contribute a premium resource (aka not something you're giving away for free somewhere else) will get a 50% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 40%.

Information for these resources is due on Friday, February 3rd, 2023. You'll submit this information along with your presentation in the provided link.

5. PROMOTION

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on February 12, 2023.

You’ll want to share using your affiliate link (which will be listed here) so you can get in on the 40% commission that will come from any All Access Pass sales (50% if you've contributed a premium bonus).

6. LIVE PARTICIPATION

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!

All I ask is that you participate in the Facebook group during your timeslot such as go live, answer questions, interact and connecting with others.

While you are not required to attend the events of other speakers, it’s highly encouraged! We’ll be able to get some great discussions going about the topics being presented.

Affiliate Details

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?

That’s exactly why I’ve set up an affiliate program for the All Access Passes where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by Monday, March 20, 2023.

The commission structure is as follows:

  • 40% for all speakers

  • 50% for all speakers who include a premium bonus 

The pricing structure will be (prices shown as All Access Pass/VIP All Access Pass):

  • $47/97 for 20 minutes after initial registration

  • $77/127 until February 27, 2023

  • $97/147 from February 28, 2023 to March 7, 2023

All prices in USD. We use Thrivecart to track affiliate sales.

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads. 

Just remember to use your affiliate link, which we’ll provide in advance of the promotion schedule.

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.
