Want to make life easy? Yeah, me too.

Here are some tools that I use and are proven to simplify your group and life.

Group Leads

When new members request to join your Facebook group, Group Leads saves all their information – and completed questions, including email addresses – to a Google sheet and adds them to your email marketing software. It’s as easy as clicking Approve. This saves SO MUCH TIME AND ENERGY.

Why I like Group Leads:

  • Saves so much time and energy –manually copying out the member info and email addresses can take hours per month. This tool has saved so much time and effort

  • Allows for quick adds of group members – because you’re not delayed to copy out the information (we used to do it twice a week), this gets your members in faster.

  • Good integrations – there are lots of email marketing softwares that it integrates with.

But consider this:

  • Because Facebook updates its code regularly, GroupLeads can break. Therefore, it has to be updated regularly too You may have to upload the latest version of GroupLeads a couple times per year.

  • It’s $27/month and this is a great place to start with. But remember to switch your account to an annual membership at $99/year once you’re away.

Mailerlite

We use Mailerlite and we love it. We switched over from Mailchimp and do not regret it one bit. It’s perfect for what we want to do.

Why I like Mailerlite:

  • Very intuitive and easy to use – this one is a huge factor for me.

  • Grows with you – it’s free for the first 1000 subs, including automations, and then is very reasonably priced.

  • Good integrations – most recently I wanted to integrate with Thrivecart and the built-in integration works great. But definitely check out if there are integrations you’ll need.

  • Great support - we have reached out to their support on more than 1 occasion – once for an issue, another for a question. They were very responsive.

But consider this:

  • Some of the design and advanced features aren’t as robust as others

  • Maybe at some point in the future, we may what to do fancy things with email marketing – I could see us switching at that point. But until then, Mailerlite is perfectly sufficient.
